1) They are field tiles (towards the top left and top right). 2&3) They are 4X4 ceramic tiles with a gloss surface, but textured. (Large speckles of white on an off-white background. The grout is off-white) 4) There is a tile ledge between the bathtub and wall. The bathtub has it's own edge, and then the tile ledge starts. The tile ledge is about 2 1/2" in height (up from the bathtub edge) and about 11" wide - and then it adjoins the wall, which is fully tiled. 5) There are no visible signs of water damange (the shower head is at least 4 feet from the window area and lower than the cracks), and most of the rest of the caulk, grout is in decent condition. The window frame is tiled as well (aside from the small part that is the actual window).
