I want to install a heating/air conditioning upgrade to replace my very old furnace. I have no duct work in place. They ran individual pipe to each room. It looks like a snake coming off the furnace. The house is old and remodeled and there is no room to run proper size ducting between the joists between the old and newer section. Is it possible to run flexible duct to the attic and use ceiling vents for the upstairs? I have room for two large vents to the attic.
