It's possible that your home, although new, is settling or that you have adverse soil conditions that are affecting your foundation. Can you answer these questions?

1) What part of the country do you live in? 2) What kind of foundation do you have (slab, raised foundation, basement, etc.) 3) What kind of soil do you have? Clay? Sandy? Bedrock? 4) Do you have any known drainage problems? 5) Do the doors stick year-round, or only at certain times? 6) Was the window sill always crooked, or did this happen recently? 7) Are there any signs of cracks anywhere else, such on interior or exterior walls? 8) Do you feel any floors sloping slightly? 9) Are you the original owner? Do you know the builder?

With these answers, we can recommend possible remedies or course of action.
