Does anyone know of any software that makes it fairly simple to draw elevations of befores and afters for home remodeling.

Drawings that can be submitted to state and county officials that are in scale and able to show structural changes such as floor joists spaced 16 on center... etc.

I have looked at computer shows and asked a lot of builders in the area but no one is aware of any.

Would I have to use a CAD system from scratch? Many floor plan programs are out there but they don't have the ability to show the framing structure with annotations of board dimensions and spacing.

Can anyone help???
