The position of the i-beam (in the center of the 26' wall) doesn't make sense to us based on the size of the bonus room above (10x18). We need to understand exactly where the bonus room will sit relative to the garage, as well as any other load-bearing rooms above. Due to the complexity with a hip roof, it would be best to see a complete "plan view" of the proposed bonus room, as well as the roof line. We would also need to know the roofing material to compute any load it imparts on the i-beam.
