Will the I beam carry any point loads (such as from a roof), or is the load uniformly distributed? Also, will there be any lateral support to prevent twisting of the beam? Lateral support allows smaller beams. Also, please confirm that the 20-foot span isa simple clear span, with no overhanging portion on either end.
