House leveling process

My 1920's house is on post and beams. I live in California. The floor is starting to sag from age rather than soil problems, in my opinion. I would like to know the leveling process using laser levels and how to dig new supports. After water drainage no longer runs under the house, new settling has been resolved. Are there any publications that go step by step through the leveling process. I would like to do this myself because of costs.
