I need some advice as to the direction I need to go in. We want to expand our approx. 1300 SF home.We have the skills to do the work, but my problem is I'm not exactly sure which way to go cost-wise or aesthetically.MY QUESTION: Who should I contact to help me untangle all of my thoughts & ideas so that we can decide whether to expand up or out???? We have 3 BR ,2 BA.,Full basement, front porch w/shed roof, large back deck,& 2car garage. I want to add in an exercise and office area , play rm. , relocate our kitchen & dining area to existng garage while expanding our family rm. and build a free- standing garage to be adjoined later w/ a roof. DO I NEED AN INTERIOR DESIGNER OR AN ARCITECHT OR SOMEONE TOTALLY DIFFERENT???
