In our house that was built in 1887, the basement tends to have water leak in during heavy rains. The west wall appears to be the only one that leaks. There are no visible cracks, I believe after so many years, it has become porous. Any ideas of how to remedy this? I am open to suggestions of sealant or additional wall coverings or methods of repair. thanks!
