We need new siding on our house. We really don't know where to begin. We don't know what type of siding to use. We live in Boulder County, Colorado does this have an affect on what type of siding we use? We see a lot of ads for vinyl siding, but none of the builders use it out here. Does vinyl have a lot of problems or is it just a preference for wood? If we decide on wood - does this mean we have to have it primed and painted in addition to having it installed or are there places that sell WOOD (not hardboard/partical board) that has already been painted? Please help. I have been searching everywhere for information.
