You want to screen in your covered rear deck due to an abundant bug problem and you're concerned now about the spaces between the 2x6 treated decking. You have a few choices here. First, if the underneath side of your deck is accessible, you could apply a fine-screened mesh to prevent bugs from entering. However, assuming you don't have access, your other choices include the possibility of caulking between the existing boards (not aesthetically pleasing), or laying a thin layer of new decking over the existing decking, either at a 45-degree or 90-degree angle. You could also lay an indoor-outdoor carpeting over the existing decking. Another idea might be to wedge a piece of suitably size rope in between the existing gaps. By pushing the rope down into the gaps, you'll help to close off any spots where the bugs could enter, and the rope will be more or less out of site. Builders Websource.
