Re: Replacement for Color-Lok Siding?

Thanks for your response. FYI,I contacted Fitch Lumber-- they say they have no remaining Masonite inventory at all. As for the compensation, this is the second round of Masonite on my home. It was entirely replaced in '92 as part of the lawsuit proceedings just before I purchased the house. From what others in my neighborhood are experiencing, Masonite is frequently refusing to compensate for siding rotting under window framing (as mine is) because they claim "improper installation". I want to sell my home and simply want to replace a few pieces for now. What do you suggest using to replace these areas? Someone mentioned a siding product that is a mix of concrete and fiber (?) I guess the biggest problem will be finding something that matches what is there now, right? Also, I live in South Florida. (Weather-resistant?) Any advice you can offer me will be appreciated. Thanks.--Mary
