Post Tensioned vs. Steel Rebar Foundation: Which is structurally better? I'm having a 2600 sq. ft. two story house built that will have a steel rebar commercial-grade slab. Around here (Dallas, TX area) in this lovely clay soil, a lot of people have post tensioned slabs. From what I've read, there isn't much difference. What do you think? Paul Lorenz Richardson, TX.
