Plastic Wall Tiles

I live in an Apartment which my kitchen walls has plastic wall tiles. Recently while I was canning a few fresh vegetables from my garden,I melted the plastic wall tile from the wall. Some became deformed while others fell off the wall showing some sort of glue. I would like to repair this before I move so that I can receive my security deposit back. Where can I find this Yellow plastic tiling? Also how much work would it be to replace the 20 tiles or so above my stove?
