CONDENSATION ON NEW BASEMENT FLOOR

I have a newly poured section of concrete floor in the basement that I am finishing off. (6 months old) I have attached a 6 mil vapor barrier that runs down the wall and across the floor slightly. (1 Ft.) I have noticed water condensing under this area of the floor. I applied a curing sealer not long after it was poured. Is this moisture from the curing of the concrete and how long will it last? This was all done at the same time the basement was waterproofed with an exterior system consisting of a French drain, applied membrane, wall drain and fiberglass layer. We have not had an overly wet weather season. Am I correct to assume that covering this situation with any type of floor covering will lead to mold/mildew underneath? Thanks for the help. Steve
