Looking for ballpark costs for a two story addition, roughly 20x20. In Western suburbs of Chicagoland. First floor would be a family room. Second floor would be a master suite, i.e. bedroom and full bath (shower a must, tub optional). This can probably be done on a concrete slab, and based on the landscaping of the back yard, will sit a few feet lower than the main house -- probably take two-three steps down, which I'm hoping will eliminate the need to touch our ceramic tile roof. Would like to match the brick of the home, would like lots of windows. Will not try to match the ceramic tile.
