I have just purchased a new home with a very high crawl space on one end of the house. It already has double door access to the crawlspace. I want to know how I can go about converting all of that wasted space under my house for a small woodshop area. I do not wish to create living space in the proposed shop area just pour concrete and rough in some walls to enclose a small area for a shop. I do not intend on digging any of the current soil under the home out. I just want to know can this be done without compromising the integrity of the foundation and a lot of cost?
