I have a 14x20 redwood deck. The redwood doesn't look the best an I am going to put a hot tub on the deck. I want to tile the deck first. The substructure is doug fir 2x10 16"oc with 4 - 6x8 cross beams running the length of the deck. The decking is 2x4 RW con common. My plan is to remove the RW and lay down 3/4" TG underlayment on the 2x10s. Next epoxy grout on 1/2" wonderboard then epoxy grout the tile. I am concerned about the underlayment and exposure to moisture. Is there any water proof / highly resistent underlayment useful for an outside application like this? Thanks
