had a house built where the framers "notched an LVL. The city inspector failed the final but later was convinced by the builder that it was ok. What does it do to the warranty when a 4"x"6 notch is cut into the end of an LVL. The span is 14' on a triple LVL carrying a second floor and I assume the roof. A little concerned!
