In the process of having radiant heat installed in basement ceiling under the floor. How far away from floor joists should the tubing be kept? Is there a minimum? I fit is installed against joists does it affect the heat process? We used TGI joists series 80 with 3 1/2 flange top and bottom. Tubning is mixed 3/8 and 1/2inch. Also what is the maximum loop for this system? Is it 300 feet ,400feet or 600feet? Thanks for your assistance.
