Can the front of a tri-level home be changed to look more contemporary?

Hello, I have a 15 year old tri-level. I hate the way the front of my home looks (design-wise as it is the typical tri-level front) and was wondering, with the way the roofline is, could anything be done to change the way it looks, like add a small v-shaped roofline over the bay window and then put in a curved window? Or, do you have any other ideas to change the look(keeping in mind we're not rich)? I don't know who to ask this question to so I hope you can help or guide me towards the right department. Thanks so much! Pam
