I just had a garage built and the builder put in 2x6 16" oc for joists. The builder knew I wanted I wanted to use this space as storage nothing heavy just small items. The builder also installed a drop down stair. The span is 22ft and seems a little woobly. Can I run a 2x6 up to the rafters and bolt together? I would do this 7ft from the ends or is their something else I could do. Thanks
