I am building a room addition. It is currently raining and all I have completed is the footing, foundation and joist. All under the new addition I have a pond (literally 8"). What can I do to prevent this from happening, what can I do noe before backfill, etc... I see this becomming a huge problem in the near future if I do not do something fast. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if you have any pictures (in example) email them to me. Thank you.
