Hello I'm putting new tub and tile in my bathroom. I removed the old tub surround and found the hot and cold water lines for the tub were not thru studs but around them, between the old surround and studs. This is not a plumbing wall, but a bearing wall. Is there a problem with drilling a 3/4" diameter hole thru a bearing wall stud? There will be 2 holes (one for the hot and one for the cold) thru a sistered 2x4. Any direction you could give would bemost helpful. Thanx john
